Restoration Hardware Trestle Salvaged Wood Dining Table Reviews

Sharing my favorite trestle dining tables and which one I chose for my own home!

I've always wanted to have a kitchen banquette and couldn't find one that would work in my kitchen eat-in space so decided to create my own with the help of my contractor. Of course that meant that I'd need a new table too! When you have a banquette, you really need to have a pedestal or trestle table (as opposed to a traditional for legged table) in order to be able to pull the table closer to the banquette and get in and out of it easily. I went on the hunt for a trestle dining table for my space and today I'm sharing my favorites with you and what I ended up with! (post contains affiliate links – disclosure statement available {here}).

My goal was to find a natural wood trestle table with a farmhouse feel – something like the one in this space by the amazing Studio McGee:

Studio McGee was kind enough to share the source of that table and it's Restoration Hardware's Salvaged Wood X-base Dining Table – so beautiful but a bit out of my budget. I found {this similar table} for quite a bit less that looks really nice:

And while it's not a trestle table, another Restoration Hardware table I love is their 17th Century Priory Dining Table (previously called the Monastery Table) – gorgeous!

Other tables I was eyeing were the Emmerson Reclaimed Dining Table found {here}:

I also really love {this trestle dining table} with arched legs – gorgeous!

A gorgeous farmhouse trestle table that can be expanded with leaves!

Also check out {this trestle table} that also has a really unique leg design and is an excellent price! And I really love {this extending dining table} that comes in two sizes and four finish options (I love both the Seadrift and Gray Wash):

So what did I end up with? I ended up finding {this trestle table} and fell in love with it – I bought it in the Seadrift finish and couldn't be happier with it:

Love this pretty trestle dining table in this kitchen eat-in area!

It's also available as an extending table in multiple sizes {here}. I wanted to be able to seal my new table in order to protect it without darkening the color of it and was able to do exactly that with wax –  check out {this post} on how I've sealed both of my wood tables. And if you want the step by step of how I created our kitchen banquette, you can find that {here}. Thanks for stopping by the blog!
